Vehcile Registration with out of state address

I got to thinking (always a dangerous thing). If we were to purchase your Alaska address, and also a NM LLC, are we likely to run into problems registering the vehicle with an Alaskan address? Or, will they likely just want a local address also?

As far as I know, Inidana presents no problems (as do a few other states) as to LLCs with AK addresses. However, things can change, so why not check with the DMV to make sure?
