I hate being forced to show picture ID to pick up a package at a store. Walmart requires it for their 'Ship-to-Store' option. You have to produce your receipt AND picture ID when you pick up. I usually vary the names on my order so that they get a partial name match. For example, if the name on my ID is Susan Jane McAdams, I place an order online using the name Jane Adams (my middle name and drop the MC at the beginning of the last name). Clerks at Walmart are generally oblivious to the name differences, and my true name is not in their database. I'm thinking maybe this would work at UPS, however I have not tried them.
